Salon payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. Your use of payouts is also subject to Stripe Connected Account Agreement and applicable bank/card network rules. This page is AureMarket's platform policy layer. Titled vehicle hammers are not card checkout. Payments are not yet open. Nothing on this page charges anyone until the salon opens.
AureMarket uses Stripe to process buyer payments and seller payouts on salon lots (watches, bags, jewelry, art, furniture, and other non-titled goods). AureMarket does not store full payment card numbers. By paying or connecting a payout account, you also accept Stripe's terms and privacy notices.
Cars, motorcycles, boats, and other titled metal listed on AureMarket do not run the hammer on cards. Funds move seller to buyer by ACH, wire, cashier's check, or a licensed third-party escrow the parties choose. AureMarket is not a dealer, broker, or escrow company and does not take the vehicle or the title.
To receive payouts on salon lots, sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including identity and bank information Stripe requires under U.S. KYC and anti-money-laundering rules. AureMarket may delay listing visibility or payouts until onboarding is complete and in good standing.
After a successful salon sale, proceeds (item price minus platform fees and applicable adjustments) are made available according to Stripe and AureMarket payout schedules. Titled hammers settle seller-to-buyer outside that Stripe payout. Payout timing is not instant and may be affected by:
Purchases over $25,000 before tax are paid from the buyer's bank account. When a buyer pays from their bank account and that payment is over $25,000, the payout for every sale in it, including a sale of $25,000 or less, is released no sooner than 63 calendar days after the payment arrives. This covers the time the buyer's bank has to send the payment back. If a card or bank payment is returned or disputed, the payout for that sale stays on hold while the return or dispute is open. If it ends in the buyer's favor, the buyer's money has gone back and the payout is not released. Any amount already paid out on that sale may be recovered under sections 6 and 7.
Refunds approved by the seller or by AureMarket under Buyer Protection on eligible salon orders are typically returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on Stripe and the buyer's bank. Partial refunds are allowed when agreed or decided under policy. Titled-lot fund movement follows the wire, cashier's check, or third-party escrow instructions the parties chose for that deal — not a card refund.
If a buyer initiates a chargeback, Stripe and the card network control much of the process. Sellers must provide evidence when requested. AureMarket may debit the seller's balance for chargeback amounts and fees. Representment success is not guaranteed.
You authorize AureMarket and its processor to set off amounts you owe (refunds, chargebacks, fees, reserves, overpayments) against balances and future payouts, and to seek recovery by other lawful means if balances are insufficient.
The platform operates in U.S. dollars for standard listings. Any currency conversion by your bank or card issuer is outside AureMarket's control.
You may not use AureMarket payments for unlawful activity, sanctions violations, structured transactions to evade reporting, or to process payments for third parties unrelated to genuine marketplace sales.
We may update these Payments Terms by posting a new version. Processor rules may change independently of AureMarket.
