This policy describes AureMarket's platform protection program for eligible U.S. purchases. It is not insurance, a warranty from AureMarket on every item, or a guarantee of payment. Payment-network chargeback rights remain separate. Nothing in this policy covers title brands, flood, salvage, or odometer on vehicles.
Buyer Protection is designed to increase trust on AureMarket when an eligible order has a qualifying problem: item not received, significantly not as described (SNAD), damaged in transit under covered conditions. AureMarket is a marketplace platform; sellers remain primarily responsible for fulfilling orders as listed.
To qualify, all of the following generally must be true:
Local pickup / AureMeetup is not covered. Meetup is cash at the venue. The house does not hold those funds. Inspect, then pay, or walk away. "Not received" after a handoff is not a Buyer Protection case.
AureMarket may extend windows for documented carrier delay or platform outage. Deadlines are measured in calendar days unless stated otherwise.
Sellers are generally given a chance to resolve (provide tracking, accept a return, issue a partial refund, or rebut with evidence). If the parties do not resolve, AureMarket may decide based on the record. Possible outcomes include: full refund, partial refund, return for refund, no action, or escalation. Refunds are typically returned to the original payment method via our payment processor and may take several business days to appear.
If a return is required, we may issue a prepaid label or require the buyer to ship to a designated address by a deadline. Failure to return when required may result in denial or reversal of protection.
Items approved for return must be sent back in the same condition as received (reasonable inspection excepted), with all original accessories represented in the listing. AureMarket or the seller may refuse protection if the returned item differs, is incomplete, or shows new damage. Title and risk during return shipping follow the instructions in the case decision.
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank while a Buyer Protection case is open, AureMarket may close the case or suspend review to avoid double recovery. Filing false chargebacks may result in account limits. Banks and card networks apply their own rules, which AureMarket does not control.
Serial or abusive claims, fraud, collusion, or evidence manipulation may lead to case denial, account suspension, collection of amounts wrongly paid, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate. We may limit Buyer Protection for accounts with elevated risk scores.
This policy is part of the Agreement with AureMarket. It does not expand warranties beyond what is stated, does not make AureMarket the seller of user-listed goods, and does not waive limitations of liability in the Terms of Service. We may update this policy; the effective date will change when we do.
