Safety

The doors are not open. The rules already are.

AureMeetup exchanges are not staffed, and they are not a free-for-all either. Before the doors open, here is what already holds true for every exchange — founding seats included.

1

A public place, chosen together.

Every AureMeetup happens somewhere public and well-lit, agreed by both sides — never a private home, never a stranger's car. If a spot feels wrong when you arrive, you are not obliged to stay.

2

Money stays on the floor.

When the floor opens, payment moves through AureMarket rather than to a wire, an app, or cash across a table. Nobody from AureMarket will ever ask you to pay another way — and if someone does, that is the signal to walk away, not to be polite.

3

Authenticity is a path, not a promise.

Ask the seller for clear photographs, papers and provenance before you agree to meet. AureMeetup sets the where and the when; it does not check the piece, and nobody from AureMarket is on site.

4

A window, not a shrug.

Every meetup carries a real window rather than an open-ended “sometime today.” When the window closes, so does the meetup. Reschedule instead of standing somewhere waiting on a maybe.

Quieter isn’t an accident. It’s designed.

Founding seats are open. The doors are not. If how an exchange works raised a question this page did not answer, we would rather hear it now than after you are standing at a meetup.
